For visitors with disabilities
Visitors with mobility concerns may reserve a golf cart tour. The Visitor Center can provide you with maps of accessible paths through campus and building entrances. Sign-language interpreting is available by prior arrangement with at least 2 weeks notice and preferably 4 weeks. Please email tour@berkeley.edu to inquire.
We own one wheelchair which is on a first-come first-served basis. The wheelchair can only be used during our walking tours, 7 days a week. It may not be used for any other part of your visit on our campus. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your tour so that we can complete the required paperwork and retrieve the wheelchair. When you check in at the visitor center, we will ask you to sign a liability form and make a copy of your government-issued ID. Please note that we are unable to push the wheelchair guest.
