Originally hailing from London, U.K.’s underground music scene, this jam-packed DJ event is one you surely don’t want to miss. This huge party is stacked with over 20 talented DJs, with sounds ranging from Club, Pop, Reggaeton, Juke, and more. Tickets are still available, but get yours soon because this groovy event is sure to sell out very soon! Go dance with your friends and hear from some of the most talented up-and-coming DJs from around the world.

  1. Kali Uchis, Red Moon in Venus Tour - May 26, San Francisco

Fresh off of the release of her lush and captivating Red Moon in Venus album, Kali is going on tour this summer and sharing her talents in the Bay this May. Having witnessed Kali open for Tyler, the Creator with an energetic and dreamy set last spring, I cannot wait to see how Ms. Uchis commands the space as a headliner. Kali is the ultimate embodiment of powerful, divine feminine energy, and anyone who attends is in for an experience of true magic and spiritual ascension. It has been a joy to watch Kali’s career blossom like a beautiful “rose,” and her concert is sure to be an evening any visitor will never forget.

  1. Sol Blume - April 29-30, Sacramento

This R&B festival based in our beloved state capital is currently on the rise, and for good reason. Headliners last year included Jhené Aiko, U.K. starlet Jorja Smith, Jasmine Sullivan, and Summer Walker. This year includes everyone’s favorite soft-voiced playboy Brent Faiyaz and Oakland’s very own Kehlani, as well as other favorites like Ella Mai, Isaiah Rashad, and Pink Pantheress, who is fresh off of a global, viral hit “Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2 featuring internet favorite rapper Ice Spice. Good vibes and great music are abundant at this festival, so make sure to grab your tickets while you still can.

  1. Re:SET Concert Series - June 2-4, Palo Alto

Re:SET is a brand new, 3-day concert experience that changes up the typical outdoor, multi-artist experience. The event has one stage, and each artist will play a full set on the day they are scheduled to perform. Concert-goers no longer have to rush back and forth between sets or miss out on an artist due to conflicting performance schedules. Day 1 features an electronic vibe with the likes of LCD Soundsystem, IDLES, Big Freedia, and more. After a successful tour last fall, Steve Lacy takes the stage Saturday, along with other genre-bending artists like Fousheé, James Blake, and Toro y Moi. Sunday switches to Indie standouts with Boygenius (featuring everyone’s favorite sad girl Phoebe Bridgers), Clairo, Dijon, and Bartees strange.

  1. Blue Note Jazz Festival - July 28-30, Napa

Finally, soak in the smooth sounds of some of Jazz’s most renowned talents amongst the beautiful, grapevine-filled countryside in Napa Valley. If you call yourself a music fan and have no appreciation for Jazz, I am judging you hardcore (kidding, kind of). Blue Note is one of the most famous curators of Jazz music experiences in their famous, now worldwide venues. This year’s headliner is out of this world, the brilliant Grammy-nominated pianist, producer, and songwriter Robert Glasper. He composed the score for The Photograph, starring Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield. In addition, he has worked with Kanye West, Common, and Kendrick Lamar. A weekend of wonderful sounds and breathtaking landscapes awaits this summer.
